For Investors: Financial Information

If you choose to enroll in electronic delivery of Annual Reports and Proxy materials you will be notified by e-mail when the current year Annual Meeting materials are available on the Internet. The e-mail message will include instructions on how to access your Proxy materials. This method allows you to view the information at your convenience, easily print them if you wish and to vote your shares electronically. Best of all, you will have the opportunity to receive the information earlier than ever before. If this is convenient for you, you will also help Colgate reduce printing and postage expenses.

You may enroll for this service at any time, but you must do so by March 2010 to be registered for electronic delivery of the current year's Annual Meeting materials.

This service is available to Colgate's registered shareholders (domestic & foreign), employees participating in Colgate's U.S. Savings and Investment Plan and shareholders that own Colgate stock through a broker or bank.

You may sign up for electronic delivery by simply filling out an online consent form. Please see below for required information to register online:

Registered shareholders - (domestic & foreign)

You are a Registered Shareholder if your shares are registered in your name and are being held with our transfer agent, Bank of New York Mellon.

Domestic Registered Shareholders will need the following:

• Your e-mail address
• Your U.S. Social Security number / U.S. Tax ID or Canadian Tax ID
• Click here to complete your online consent form.

Foreign Registered Shareholders (if you do not have a U.S. Social Security Number / U.S. Tax ID or Canadian Tax ID associated with your account) will need the following:

• Your e-mail address
• Your Bank of New York Mellon Account Number

Employees participating in the U.S. Savings and Investment Plan-

U.S. Savings and Investment Plan Participants will need the following:

Beneficial Shareholders

You are a Beneficial Shareholder if you maintain your position in Colgate through a broker or bank.

Beneficial Shareholders will need the following:

There is no need to fill out an online consent form if you have already done so in the past and your e-mail address has not changed. There is no charge to the shareholder for participation in electronic delivery.
